FAQ’s

Do you offer multiple child discounts?

Yes! The 2nd  and subsequent children (or 2nd and subsequent classes) receive 10% off.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check (payable to Prairie Gymnastics Club), and credit card (Visa, MC, AMEX, and Discover).

Do you offer trial classes?

Yes! Log on to our Customer Portal to schedule your FREE trial class today! Once you’ve created an account, choose a class and select “Request a Trial”.

What should my child wear to class?

Girls – Gymnastics leotards are preferred. There is a great selection of leotards available for purchase in our lobby. No sports bras worn alone, no tights that cover the feet, and no skirts or leotards with skirts attached.

Boys – Shorts or sweatpants with an elastic waistband, and a t-shirt (tucked in).

Footwear – Bare feet or gymnastics slippers.

Everyone – No oversized or loose fitting clothing. No jeans, buckles, buttons, snaps, zippers, etc.

What happens if my child misses a class?

We allow one make-up class per month (subject to availability) provided you let us know in advance that your child will be absent. Please call the office to schedule a make up class or use our online Customer Portal. Click HERE to view our complete make-up policy!

How will I know if my child is ready to move to the next level?

Don’t worry! Our attentive coaches pick up on skill differences very quickly and are aware of the abilities that your child needs to have in order to maintain placement in his or her level. We’re constantly evaluating our students and are very flexible when it comes to working with each child’s individual strengths and weaknesses. Your child will also periodically receive a formal evaluation during the school year and a progress report will be sent home. The progress report will detail how your child is doing and if his/her class is still a good fit.

Can I observe my child while they are in class?

Absolutely! Parents are welcome to observe classes from the balcony at any time, but we request that you refrain from making comments to your children during class time.

Can I switch classes at any time?

We are flexible! If at any time you need to find another class that better fits your schedule, please contact the front desk at (630) 406-6803 and we will enroll you in a different class.

What happens if my child’s favorite coach is moved to another class time?

Sometimes our coaches need to change class times to accommodate their own life schedules. However, we can assure you that all of our coaches undergo a thorough hiring process and an extensive training period. You can trust that they’re all fun, patient and more than qualified to ensure the safety of our gymnasts!

Do you offer online registration?

Yes! Simply click on the Register Now menu button. First time customers will be prompted to create an account to get started. Returning customers should use the e-mail address provided to us upon registration to log on, view your account, make payments, and register for future classes at any time!

What if we want to stop a class?

If at any time you wish to withdraw from our program, visit your Customer Portal account and click My Account > Enrollments > Drop Enrollment no later than the 20th of the month.
